CEDS-C Consultation for the CEDS Credential

The Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) credential is issued by the iaedp Foundation. Dr. Muhlheim is an iaedp-Approved Consultant (CEDS-C). (This used to be called CEDS supervision.)

To earn the CEDS, iaedp requires 24 hours of consultation with a CEDS-C. At least 12 hours must be individual (just you, or you and one other clinician). Up to 12 hours can be group consultation.

One thing many people miss: sign your consultation agreement before you start counting hours. Hours earned before the agreement’s start date don’t count toward the credential.

Dr. Muhlheim was the lead instructor for iaedp’s Core Course 1 for the CEDS credential, and she now serves on iaedp’s Curriculum Committee. She knows the process well. She can help you plan your hours, and she completes the consultant section of your CEDS application.
