Are you a professional who is practicing Family-Based Treatment and wants more support? This is for clinicians of any degree working from a family-based treatment (FBT) approach. Whether you have taken the EDRD Pro course with Dr. Muhlheim and Katie Grubiak, RDN, or are in any stage of learning FBT, this is a cost-effective way to receive more supervision and support. We will meet over Zoom. We will not record the meetings.
This consultation DOES NOT count toward certification in Family-Based Treatment, which is only available through the Training Institute for Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders. However, it is much more cost-effective. This consultation CAN count towards the supervision requirement for those pursuing the CEDS credential through iaedp. (Effective 3/18/2021, Group supervision may account for up to 50% of the minimum 24 supervision hours.)
Supervision Schedule and Cost
Each session will be 60 minutes of case consultation with a focus on principles of Family-Based Treatment.
$60 per 60-minute session.
Limited to 4 professionals per session.

Lauren Muhlheim, Psy.D., FAED, CEDS-S is a psychologist, fellow of the Academy for Eating Disorders (AED), and certified eating disorder specialist (CEDS) and approved supervisor for the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP). She directs Eating Disorder Therapy LA in Los Angeles. She is certified in FBT for adolescent eating disorders and is the author of When Your Teen Has an Eating Disorder. Dr. Muhlheim has held leadership roles in several professional organizations including the AED, IAEDP LA Chapter, and the Los Angeles County Psychological Association. She has previously been an IAEDP core course instructor. Dr. Muhlheim provides training on eating disorders to mental health providers internationally. She is co-author, with Katie Grubiak, RDN, of the EDRD Pro course on Working with Adolescents and Families: FBT-Informed Treatment.
